I believe everyone is an athlete. Individuals just need to be taught on how to move correctly and effectively. I believe in everyone and want to push others to perform at the best of their ability. I train anyone and everyone ranging in years from eight to 80 years young.
At A3-Fit, I coach and teach individuals on learning how to improve their body in a variety of ways. One can expect to work on stabilization and core strength. Recovery is valued immensely, focusing on proper nutrition and rest, flexibility, and mobility. I want to see the success of others by building them up through strength training, making them faster through speed and agility, and also targeting power, so that they can be more explosive. I believe fitness is for everyone; from the 14 year old basketball player learning speed skills, the 40 year old mom who has a full time job and wants to keep up with her little ones, and the 75 year old grandpa who is continuing to stay functional and not have any aches and pains. One of the many goals I have for my clients is to help them become an overall better functioning human being.
“If you have a body, You are an athlete.”
– Bill Bowerman
What is your training style?
Consistency, hard work, and a positive mindset. Those are three ingredients, I feel, you need to have to be successful. I believe anyone can achieve whatever they want if they put their mind to it. They will succeed if they are consistent and put the work in day in and day out. They must be ready to work hard. Also, after we reach our goals, savor those moments, but look onward to bigger and better things ahead. Be humble and hungry.
What can someone expect during a one on one personal training session?
Prepare to be challenged physically and mentally while having fun in the process. Clients will be educated during their sessions on “why” we do this, and “how” we do that. The goal is to challenge and educate someone as well as keeping it as safe as possible.
You are on death row. What is your last meal?
Avocado toast with diced red peppers and basil, one slice of Prince Street Pizza, a veggified salad, and a chocolate peanut butter, banana and blueberry smoothie.
Hometown?
Vero Beach, Florida.
Feelings after a training session at A3-Fit:
Feelings of being challenged, sense of achievement and hunger for more.
Which three items would you would you grab to take on a desert island other than food and water?
One 50LB dumbbell, a radio, and a machete.
If you could meet three people living or not with us anymore, who would it and why?
Kobe Bryant because of his mental toughness, determination, and dedication at everything he did, Martin Luther King Jr, because of his dream to turn this world into a better place, his outlook on life, and his humility, and Abraham Lincoln for his leadership qualities and knowledge.
One thing you love about what you do?
Being blessed enough to be a witness on one’s journey and seeing someone transform not only physically, but mentally as well. I love watching others improve and surprise themselves; especially people achieving goals they did not think they were capable of.
